Advokatgruppen assists German tech giant in large data center project

We are pleased to announce that SAP’s purchase of land for data centers in Aabenraa Municipality has finally been completed.

The German software company SAP, which employs almost 100,000 people, has since the spring of 2019 negotiated with Aabenraa Municipality for the purchase of business land for the construction of two future data centers. The data centers must be built in the area where, among other things, Google has built a similar data center.

The green energy efforts in Denmark was in particular contributing to the tech giants choosing Denmark. Especially the sufficient green power was a crucial parameter.

The specialized lawyers from Advokatgruppen; Nicolai Brommann Carøe and Michael Bach Jensen have advised the tech giant SAP throughout the process.

“We are proud to have contributed to this important trade, and hope that the future collaboration between Aabenraa Municipality and SAP will be a success. This type of trading involves a lot of stakeholders and issues, and therefore coordination and legal knowledge around the pitfalls is an important prerequisite for success. We look forward to passing on our experience from this trade. Our collaboration with SAP is another successful result of Multilaw creating beneficial relationships between lawyers and clients. ” Nicolai Brommann Carøe, Managing Partner, Advokatgruppen.
